Research has revealed that women’s voices become higher - and are deemed more attractive - when they are most likely to conceive
In other words, squeaky voices are more seductive than the husky tones.
The finding - from a pair of studies in the U.S. - is the latest in a long line to suggest that women subconsciously change their behaviour around the time of ovulation to make them more appealing to men and so increase their chances of having a child.
